The Green Family Art Foundation is pleased to present Full and Pure: Body, Materiality, Gender curated by Mara Hassan, opening on June 10, 2023, and remaining on view until September 24, 2023. Please join the Green Family Art Foundation for the opening reception of Full and Pure on Saturday, June 10 from 5-8 PM at 2111 Flora Street, Suite 110, Dallas, TX 75201. Opening reception is free and open to the public, no RSVP required. 

Full and Pure: Body, Materiality, Gender presents a survey of contemporary art reflecting on the malleability of selfhood, gendered corporeality, and aesthetic forms. This intergenerational group of artists explores the mutability of the somatic, gender, and matter, reconsidering the possibilities of the self as an inquiry into what the future can hold for us. About the Curator:

Mara Hassan is a curator, writer, and art historian. She is currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Art and Art History at Stanford University. Her research focuses on queer and gender-variant potentiality in modern and contemporary conceptual portraiture. After receiving her BA in Art History and Queer Studies from UCLA, she completed a post baccalaureate research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Her curatorial research and writing has supported institutions such as the Hammer Museum, ONE Archives, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, the Mattress Factory, and more.
